Nelito Dornelas

“As a hospitable and welcoming Church we understand a dialogical Church, welcoming all differences (...) being truly a mother who takes in her lap every diversity brought by the life.” With these words the present book is began. And it is willing to show us that the fidelity to Jesus Christ’s Gospel proposal necessarily goes through the welcoming of everyone. Using an accessible language, however without loosing the necessary scientificity, Nelito Dornelas, Roman Catholic priest assessor of the Brazilian Bishops Conference towards the Social Pastorals, shows us the welcoming present in the life of the God’s people since its origin, crossing the Christianity beginning and the first centuries of Gospel’s experience and presenting Jesus Christ as the welcoming and hospitality master.
